In honor of the employee commitment to excellence in safety, AGS has been named a 2014 recipient of the National Safety Councils “Occupational Excellence Achievement Award”. This distinguished award recognizes AGS for its lost time incident performance during the 2013 calendar year.
The National Safety Council annually recognizes organizations who achieve a lost time incident rate at least 50% below their industry group. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the packaging industry under NAICS 321920 achieved a lost time incident rate of 4.7 while AGS achieved a lost time incident rate of 0.8 in the 2013 calendar year.
The value and significance of this award is amplified by the dedication of all AGS employees, from leadership and management to the field and corporate staff. It is the sound behavior and diligent actions of all AGS employees that facilitate safe work practices and enable the organization to achieve positive results.
